It is time for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016!

As just announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Orlando Florida, the new Dynamics NAV version, previously codenamed “Corfu”, will be called Dynamics NAV 2016.

According to the overview, NAV 2016 will include the ability to work natively with Power BI, Azure SQL and Dynamics CRM Online; improvements to usability; electronic invoicing; workflow and functionality improvements; and a test automation suite for partners.

Microsoft also plans to issue monthly updates to the product, with new releases coming once per year.

So far a formal release date of NAV 2016 has not been communicated. The current release, Dynamics NAV 2015, was released in October 2014.
